We started Bird Spikes South Africa for a simple reason. Most bird problems do not need a pest control callout. They need the right product on the right ledge. Spikes, gels and deterrents are simple, humane and proven, and most people can fit them in an afternoon. We wanted buying them to be just as simple.
Why humane deterrents
Birds are not the enemy, they are just nesting where it costs you money. Droppings stain paint, corrode gutters and cut solar output, and a settled colony only grows. Every product we stock works by taking away the landing spot, not by harming the bird. The pigeons move on, the mess stops, and nobody gets hurt. That is the whole idea.
What we sell
We carry stainless steel and UV-stabilised polycarbonate bird spikes, repellent gels, sonic and visual deterrents, and mesh kits for solar panels, all held in our own warehouse. Each product page tells you clearly which birds and surfaces it suits, how much you need per metre, and how to fit it, so you always know what you are buying.
Checked before it ships
Every order is picked and checked before it leaves the warehouse, so what arrives is what you ordered. We list the strip length, the coverage and the fixing method on each product page, and we are happy to answer questions before you buy.
How we ship
Orders go out with a tracked South African courier, and delivery is free on orders of R900 or more, with a flat R190 charge under R900. Most parcels arrive within 5 to 7 days, and you get a tracking link by email as soon as yours is on its way.
